This crash course will talk about developing picture books, from idea creation through the writing and editing process. Specific topics will include:
- age breakdowns, 0-4 and 5-8+
- fiction vs. nonfiction
- brainstorming topics
- creating memorable characters
- telling your story
- developmental stages
- whether or not to write in rhyme
- finding a publisher for your work
